| STELIOS PANAYIOTOU first commenced the manufacture of chain-link fencing in1967, with the establishment of a manual production line. A skill fully customized Land Rover engine and clutch powered a small bending machine. Lengths of galvanized wire were cut and formed into 'zig-zag' spirals. These were in turn hand 'knitted' into the familiar diamond mesh. Other operatives knuckled and twisted the top and bottom edges, using hand clamps and pliers. STELIOS PANAYIOTOU 's chain-link fencing became known from then on as 'THE GUARDIAN OF YOUR PROPERTY'. |
